Abiotic conditions of life on Earth are made up by:
- inanimate nature
- components of animate nature
- living organisms and their environment
The population of the blackbird icludes
- all individuals of this species that live in a given place at a given time
- all individuals of this species
- only all adults who live in a given place and at a particular time
Populations in the community are bound to each other:
- through food relations
- through food (processing) relations
- through neighbourly relations
On the basis of food relations we divide organisms:
- producers, consumers, decomposers
- makers, consumers, producers
- producers, higher order consumers and decomposers
Producers are:
- autotrophic organisms
- saprophytic organisms
- heterotrophic organisms
According to the types of organisms that contribute to the structure of the food chains we distinguish:
- grazing and disruptive food chain
- grazing and pray food chain
- decompositional and disruptive food chain
First order consumers are not:
- herbivores
- soil organisms
- birds of prey
In food chains:
- must be all three types of organisms (herbivores, consumers, decomposers)
- not always are all three types of organisms (herbivores, consumers, decomposers
- may not be producers
In the upper floors of the food pyramid, the concentration of pollutants:
- increases.
- decreases
- increases or decreases, depending on the circumstances
At the top of the food pyramid are:
- consumers
- first order consumers
- herbivores
